Road Sawing

Road sawing uses a larger, self-propelled saw to cut through road pavement, driveways and thicker external slabs, usually ahead of trenching for services or planned pavement works. The heavier saw and deeper blade get through thicker, tougher pavement than a standard floor saw can manage.

Because this work is often on or near roads and shared access, planning around traffic, pedestrians and water runoff is part of the job. Cutting is done wet, and cut lines are set out to suit the trench or works that follow.
